SET MAXIMUM APERTURENikon Lens Scans
- by Lars Holst HansenA table of lens scans demonstrating LENS SPEED (or MAXIMUM APERTURE) INDEXING POST positions on true AI-coupled lenses (NIKKOR AI, Nikon Series E, NIKKOR AI-S lenses & AF NIKKORs). Included is also the two kinds of AI-coupled tele converters.
Blanks indicate missing scans. You can contribute to this project by submitting scans of NIKKOR AI, Nikon Series E or NIKKOR AI-S lenses.
Set the aperture ring at f/5.6 (if possible). Place a sheet of white paper on top. Use JPEG format and image sizes arround 480x480 pixels. Sit the lens in the middle of the scanning area to ensure the least perspective distortion. Take care not to scratch the rear lens!
