GN works with population dynamics, predator-prey interactions, biological control, spatial population dynamics, metapopulations, and sampling methods. He teaches in population ecology and biostatistics. GN is the convener of the present course. |

Henrik
Gislason
Professor at Zoological Institute, University of Copenhagen with association to The Danish Institute for Fisheries Research. HG works with multispecies mathematical models for assessment and management of fish stocks. He teaches in fisheries biology. HG is head of the Danish Network for Aquaculture and Fisheries Research called FishNet (http://www.fishnet.dk/home/index.html) and the associated network SLIP (Scaling from individuals to populations) |

Chris Topping
CT works with population ecology, landscape ecology, and modeling. He is head of a research team developing ALMaSS (www.almass.dk), which is an individual-based model for simulation of wildlife at the landscape level.

Jane Uhd Jepsen As a PhD student at Department
of Population Ecology, Zoological Institute, University of Copenhagen, JUJ
conducts her studies at the National Environmental Research Institute,
Department of Landscape Ecology. JUJ is part of the ALMaSS research team and works with population ecology of mammals and the use of individual-based modelling tools in landscape and species management
