The following is the information that we will need from you in order to make your personal "Biography Page". For examples of these, look at the ones in the Faculty Staff and Students page in the Animal Behaviour Department. Return to this page by clicking on the link in the footer of each page.Once the information is collected and the page assembled, you will be contacted by email to arrange having your photograph for the page taken. You will also be asked to give us a picture of your study species. These pictures can be photographs or slides, as we can accomodate either format. If you choose to submit electronic images, such as those you have found on the internet, remember YOU MUST HAVE PERMISSION TO USE ANY PHOTOGRAPH YOU TAKE FROM THE WEB. Otherwise, we may be breaking copyright laws. If you find a picture of your species you want to use on your page, email the person who posted it on the internet. In many cases, you will be granted permission to use it for this type of purpose, maybe with a provision that you acknowledge them (we can accomodate this). At most, they may charge you small fee for use (you will have to cover this cost). We are sorry, but without this permission, we will not be able to put the picture on your page. |
